It rained, heavily, on Saturday 15th of July this year. This was of course St Swithins Day and, if the countryfolk are right (and they usually are), this means we are going to have to endure a lot of wet indoor-days between now and September.
Perhaps this might be the spur you’ve been waiting for? That unfinished play in your desk drawer would surely benefit from a few more hours spent on it. And if you haven’t yet started, now is the time.
The Original Playwriting Competition panel are waiting, breath bated, in anticipation of your entries this year. There’s still just over two months until the deadline on Monday 25th September, but we’ve had just one play sent in so far. It looks to be a particularly good one, and it deserves to be challenged by lots more.
So do get writing.
