The SFD have had the following request for anyone interested in taking part in a short film.

If anyone is interested, could they please contact me, Roger Price, at roger.66@zen.co.uk where I can give you more detail.

"We are a Student Led short film, based in Cambridge and Filming in Somerset looking for 2 actors to play supporting roles in our short film.

As for Production value, we are using the Arri Alexa mini LF which is industry standard, as well as all of our other equipment being industry standard.

This is also our Graduation film so the quality we are expecting from the final result will be something great for these actors as a credit and for showreels.

These are paid roles and the pay will be standard minimum wage but this is variable at this current stage.

Mark (Playing Age 40/45)

Lisa (Playing Age 63/68)

If you can let us know of any interested applicants ASAP with a self tape and some headshots that would be amazing!

Our filming dates for Mark are the 3rd to the 5th of March.

Our filming dates for Lisa are the 3rd to the 6th of March.

We will also cover travel to and from set, if they can drive we will cover petrol, if they cannot we will drive them to and from set.

Story -

The film starts before our protagonist Pat, is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He and his wife Lisa host an anniversary party with family friends, including Pat and Lisa’s son Mark, and his Daughter, Lauren. Early signs of Pat's oncoming disease seep through.

5 years later, Pat, now a shell of the man he once was, deals with normal life tasks, with an incredible amount of help from his wife Lisa. What seems like a good day for Pat, slowly turns into one of his worst when going out for a pub meal with Mark, Lauren, and family. When rushed back home, the severity of Pat's disease becomes very apparent and we see how each member of the family deals with this in their own ways.

As the Film comes to a close Pat finds himself wandering around in a long-forgotten memory."
