The David Beach Youth Competition

for Youth Musicals

The David Beach Youth Competition for Musicals is for any Musical where all those performing on stage are 18 or under on the opening night. Adult involvement is limited to the production team, backstage and front of house.  Every show entered in the competition will be visited by the competition moderator and a adjudicator who will write a full adjudication considering all aspects of the show including onstage and offstage contributions. At the end of the season, which runs for 12 months from 1 December every year, there is a David Beach Youth Presentation Evening, a glitzy festival of fun in which we acknowledge and reward the best in every category.
